Salagdo was born on February the 8th in Brazil. He has traveled in over 100 countries for his photographic projects. In Salgado's images he links them all too one an other, for example he takes pictures of those working hard.
The lighting in this image is quite dull, this makes the image look sad and fits with the picture because if you have people working hard and they look quite poor the mood is going to be dull and upset, which is what the lighting looks like.
In this image you have leading lines from were they are pushing
For example in this photo there is a family pushing there family goods (food, clothes ect) You can see the man in the family (presuming he is the father) is trying really hard and putting alot of effort into pushing there goods around, we can tell he is trying hard as he is properly bending forwards as far as he can and his arms are in line with his body.
For example in this photo you can see 3 men trying to chop wood down, maybe for a fire to keep warm, or make shelter. We can see that these men are working hard as one of the men have the knife on the wood and are trying to chop it down.
In this photo there is a man/young boy climbing a hill with some things which i think are rocks from the bottom of the hill and he has to climb up this hill with heavy things also on his back.
