For this image i made the brightness higher and cropped the photo so that the seagull would stand out more. i also made the shadow have a tint of blue.

For this image i made the contrast and the brightness higher as this made the reflection in the water stand out more, This also made the shadow stand out more on the roof.

For this image i made the picture brighter and boosted the contrast up a little to make the shadow on the leaf stand out more, after this i blurred out the corners of the image to make the focus on the lizard. after this i made the leaves a brighter green and then selected the lizard to make him have more contrast, this brought out all the different greens on the lizards back.

I cropped the top of this photo so that there wasn't just lots of sky in the photo as i wanted the sun to stand out the most, i then made the brightness higher which made the sun stand out more, after this i then put contrast up high to make most things around the sun dark/black, this made the sun stand out even more.

For this image i cropped the building out because if i didn't if would not go with the whole journey idea, after this i made the brightness and saturation quite high to make the sun look really bright and orange. I then made he contrast high to make everything else quite dark.

I made this image brighter and cropped some of the sand out so that he sand didn't over power he image, i made the sky lighter and made it a lighter shad of blue than it was, i also did this to the sea.

 This image i found really hard to edit. i made the contrast a bit higher so that the dolphin stood out more, and i cropped the photo to make the dolphin be more in the center.

 For this image i made the contrast higher, this made the dolphins stand out a lot more than they did, as in the old image they blended in with the water. i also made the water a bit more blue than it was.

For this image i made the contrast a little higher to make the shadow stand out a little more than it did, i have also cropped the image as i wanted more of the puddle with her reflection in instead of more with the floor in. i have also messed around with the colours to make the sky look a lot more blue than it actually was.

For this image i cropped the fire works so you could see them a lot better, i also brightened the image up so you could see the fireworks even more, and this made them look brighter witch made them stand out a lot better.

for this image i cropped it because i thought the red dots at the top were not needed and if i brightened the image up it would stand out a lot more.

 for this image i cropped it a lot, because there was a lot of room around this image, so i thought if i cropped this image it would make the castle and fireworks stand out more.

 For this image i cropped the sides and top of the image as i had a lot of room around this. i also boosted the brightness and contrast.

 For this image i cropped the picture a little at the right hand side and the bottom, i did this to make the whale stand out more. i also made the image lighter and boosted the contrast up to make the wale stand out a lot more.

For this photo i blurred the building at the bottom out and got rid of the wood. I also made the sun brighter and put more contrast on to make the sun stand out more.

Evaluation

I thought my chosen task was quite difficult as i had taken most of my pictures when i was on holiday, The 3 main subjects were fireworks water reflections/sunset and wildlife. I didn't think i had planned it very well as i should only have had one main subject/brief to work off, but because i was on holiday and there were lots of things to photograph abroad so i found it hard to choose  between the three main subjects i had. After this i decided i liked all my photos i had chose and decided to merge them together, and because i was abroad traveling, i decided that to have all them related as a kind of journey topic, i thought that this would fit really well as most of my pictures are very different and in very different places, this shows that i have been on some sort of journey to get them, however i also have photos of people walking and driving with the sun set in the background which can also relate to my journey idea because they could also been on some sort of journey.

 I think that the planning didn't go very well at first because i didn't have an exact idea of how my pictures would all link, and at first i thought there would just be loads of random pictures every were with no meaning. I also had three different types of topics i liked and none of them were similar, so i wouldn't have a very strong idea of what my overall topic was, after realizing this i knew i needed a strong overall topic, so i thought of the time when i had taken the photos and looked at all of my images together until i could link them. After realizing that i were traveling different places to capture these photos i knew that i could link them all together as a journey i have been on.

When i came to the editing process i decided to keep all of my photos in colour, i did this because a lot of my photos were quite dull and boring so i thought if i make them all bright and happy they will link even more than i thought. Also i thought by keeping the images in colour it would make my main object stand out a lot if i increased the brightness. I thought my editing went very well and i liked the out come of my photos.

My strengths would probably be taking the photos of the animals as i think it is hard to capture animals as they move a lot which can make this picture blurry, I also thought capturing the fireworks were hard because i couldn't always capture the fireworks at the right time and sometimes only had little dots and little bits of smoke, it was also very hard because you don't always know were the fireworks are going to explode in the sky, and because on some of the photos i had zoomed in i didn't always manage to capture the pictures i wanted.

If i hadn't gone on holiday i would have chosen street photography and gone into town to take pictures, but because i was going on holiday while this task was given i thought going abroad would have given me a great opportunity to take some photos. I don' think i did very well on this task because i didn't think about a main idea, instead i had a couple which has made things a lot harder.

The overall idea of my pictures related to a journey, because i was on holiday, and a lot of my photos are in different places, i thought that this could go together by going different places to capture these images and traveling to different destinations. There are also some cars and people walking in my images, this can also relate to my journey idea, because when you are walking or driving you are traveling.
